forgive me, i'm canadian
2002-12-15, 5:55 p.m.

i'm sick of the lack of conviction of *anyone*. no one is any longer motivated to do something profound, or remarkable. instead, we merely sit in front of the basking glow of our television or computer screens, waiting for someone else to do it for us. we're living in an anti-revolution, where the leaders are being lead by the followers because no one will do anything about it.

maybe i'm just too bored and need something to do. maybe i wish that something could be done, just to fuck things up a little bit. to become my own shit-disturber. a daily explosion, just to see something a bit left of the middle. something, perhaps, a wee-bit out of the ordinary.

the exploitation of culture through symbols, drugs, and rock and roll. the very things that we once strived to achieve, to be different, now becomes the norm for every little 11 year old pop princess of thug to aspire to, so that they can also be "different". everyone's trying to be different, but in reality, are only coming back to being what they were trying to escape from.

maybe it isn't worth even typing about.
